Dr. Niebojeski has been on the Board of Trustees for the Hunterdon Humane Society since 1988. We provide free medical care and services for many of the sick and injured pets that the Shelter cares for. The Hunterdon Humane Society is a no-kill shelter located in Mount Pleasant, NJ.

Dr. Niebojeski also volunteers her time and medical services to a local wildlife refuge. Injured and orphaned wildlife are cared for at Woodlands Wildlife Refuge, with the goal of returning them to their natural habitat. We have cared for foxes, bears, bobcats, snapping turtles, raccoons, opossum, even a baby beaver.

Mr. Gimp, the Black Bear Cub

Here we have a photo of Dr. Niebojeski and a sedated Mr. Gimp, an injured black bear cub brought to us by The Woodlands Wildlife Refuge.

Another photo of Mr. Gimp saying good-bye as he sets off for freedom on his release day!

Animal Hospital Tours Offered

Dr Felecia Niebojeski, DVM and Dr William Aylward, DVM of The Animal Hospital of Clinton-Perryville would love to host your scout troop or 4-H club and give them a behind-the-scenes educational tour of our animal hospital.

We will follow a “patient” through examination, x-rays, surgery and aftercare so that attendees can learn about modern veterinary medicine and how pets are cared for. Included will be a discussion of how best to care for their own pet, and also how to become a veterinarian for those who have an interest.

Call 908-735-7213 and speak with Dr Niebojeski or her office manager Michele, for more information and to set up a time.

Pet Care Visits With Tori

Tori

Tori is a retired Seeing Eye Dog who needs a new purpose!

She and her new owner, Dr Felecia Niebojeski, DVM, are available to come to your classroom and give a 30-45 minute talk on basic pet care. Included will be a discussion on Tori’s former job as a Seeing Eye dog, and why she is now retired.

Tori loves everyone and is happy to let the students listen to her heart, check her teeth, examine her eyes, her ears, her coat – anything as long as she gets petted in the process!

Call Dr Felecia Niebojeski at her office – 908-735-7213 for more information or to set up a visit with Tori for your class.

Tori will be happy to feel useful again. I think she is a little bored being retired!
